This clay goblet is cast from one of the original props and baked in a kiln to a rock-hardness (just don't let it drop down a crevice... it's liable to break!). The cup is painted in several layers and colours of acrylics and detailed entirely with GOLD leaf.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The outside of the cup is covered in gold leaf and aged to a dusty grey colour, just like the original, while the inside is covered more heavily in gold leaf. Because this replica is cast in clay, not resin, it has the weight and feel of the real thing. Due to the casting method used, the stem of the goblet is hollow with a hole in the base.
